Zabbix Polling issue

Hi All,

I am configuring CPU Utilization alerts and here i am having a requirement Like

I want to configure CPU Utilization alert as every 5 minutes 3 consecutive polls means for the 1st poll 5 min if the CPU is more than threshold alert should not be triggered and in the 3rd poll if the CPU is more than threshold alerts should be triggered. Can you please help me in fixing this.

With an item update interval of 5 minutes, you could use the .avg function to accomplish this: .avg(15m)}>90 or (whatever the desired value is)

.min(#3)>=90 (if 90 is your threshold)

How does this work . will it check 3 time and 3rd time if cpu is high u will get the alert thats it right .

But for 5min 3 polls means how to configure

The min function calculates the lowest value of an item within the defined evaluation period.

but my requirement is not that every 5minutes with 3 consecutive polls I need to configure resource utilization means

Problem cannot be solved change key definition but in using passive agent type items and by this passive agent monitoring.
Passive monitoring does not scale (dosn't matter what you wil do with keys definition) and only solution is active monitoring.
