I'm seeing a bizarre issue occur. Any time that I bounce my zabbix server, all of the services start up fine. The web UI is accessible and all appears well with the exception of my seeing 120+ 'icmp availability check' disaster alerts flooding my dashboard...and in turn fires out incessant emails to me & my Hosting team. Keep in mind that none of these hosts are down by any means.
If I stop/start the zabbix_server service and refresh the dashboard within a few seconds, all of the disaster alerts go away. I've modified & investigated run levels for startup sequence & chkconfig settings. I am a nix intermediate user. But this one is blowing my mind. I have no idea what is causing this.
Any help in finding a solution would be a blessing.
Thank You,
Scott J
