Triggers,operations and too many e-mails.

Hi All!
I am going mad with notification.

I am studying a method to have an alert in this way:
- alert, immediately first e-mail sent
- if the problem is not resolved, send another notification in 30 minutes ultil the problem is solved

I created a trigger for "no icmp" on a server.
The alert starts immediately to send e-mails to me but every minute.
Also I have the e-mail for recovery randomly sent when the problem is not resolved.

I am confused about steps and timing in my Operation.

All because item used by trigger has history period 1m and gecause in trigger definition "PROBLEM event generation mode" is not on "Single" but on "Multiple"

The trigger is on single. If I put the Trigger on multiple I have the same result.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I have the same issue. I got over 2K message because host was not available.
