API for Zabbix status

which API I need to call to get the overall status of the zabbix server.
Also, how to get the system status and which API needs to call to get the same. We are not able to map the properties to the exact columns. We need to get know the properties associated with columns displaying on system status information on the home screen.

Zabbix API is not to monitor zabbix but to interact with data and/or configuration data used by zabbix.
Zabbix monitoring (like a monitoring status of the server, proxies and agents) is done over .. zabbix.

I don't think that you need this
I think that you are on to early stage of zabbix evaluation process to form list of what you need
