Delay item Agent

Hello everyone I have the following scenario:

Zabbix server is running	Yes	localhost:10051

I have a problem with delays in monitored items in agents (Windows) I have an item with a simple read of a file (txt)

Item :

Type : Zabbix agent

Key : vfs.file.contents["C:\Zabbix\arquivos\cemig.txt", ANSI]

Type of Information : TEXT

Update Interval : 1m





When checking in the latest recent data, I see that there is a delay in the return of the information even though it is in the interval of 1 minute:










It is worth mentioning that this machine I am monitoring is in the standard Windows OS template and collects the other information normally. I already checked the agent settings like Timeout, StartAgents and others, and the problem persists. I have other items monitoring via scripts with UserParameter and the values also delay. Can anyone help me with any tips because I need this information almost in real time? Thank you very much in advance

If you gave non zero value in StartAgents it means that you are using passive monitoring which is not triggered on agent but on server or proxy (if host is monitored over the proxy).
In such cases bottleneck is not on number of polling process on srv/prx.
Passive monitoring does not scale up above some NVPS.
Solution: switch to active monitoring.
