Problem with connection between zabbix-server and zabbix proxy using OPENVPN

I hope you can help me, I have a zabbix-server in an office and i want to monitor other office wich a zabbix proxy by through of OPENVPN, making the link from zabbix-proxy to zabbix-server in a model from a local network, there is no problem, but if I do the link through the OPENVPN the proxy does not raise,
what does this mean? and how could i solve?
