Agent include directory fail on Win 2016 Server box

The Include for a subdir fails on Windows 2016 Datacenter server.

On 2013 servers and workstations i have been able to use the Include=c:\program files\zabbix agent\conf.d\*.conf to include several conf file with useparmeters, on a 2016 database center that no longer works.
It also fails if i have more than one include

I am using the 3.4.7 agent ,when i say fails i mean the service does not star.t

    Hi, mellis!

Where did you get agent 3.4.7? officially there is only 3.4.6 available for Windows computer - https://www.zabbix.com/download_agents.
Does the service start when you exclude the 'Include=' option?

Did you use default config file available in archive (zabbix_agentd.win.conf)? If you created your own config from scratch you may break the encoding of the file. That is why I would suggest modifying original. But you can rename the filename at least

    All the best,
    Aigars

In case someone else comes across this thread, I had a similar issue where agent wouldn't start if I was using an include file. Turns out it was an encoding issue. The file was in UTF-8 but had a Byte Order Mark (BOM). I discovered this by opening both the main conf file plus my additional conf file in Notepad++. From within Notepad++, I chose the same encoding as the original conf file, saved, and all was well.
