    Missing from address in SMTP notification envelope

    We are trying to push mail alerts to a sender ID. In Zabbix UI, it is showing mail alerts have been pushed successfully but I am not receiving those emails.

    I have raised this with my email administrator and got a confirmation that the from address in email envelope is being pushed with no value from zabbix application.

    Did anyone faced this issue earlier? Please help in fixing this issue.

    Would you mind to write few more sentences about "push alerts to sender ID"? What does it mean? What Zabbix servers version you are using?
    In version 3.0, 3.2, 3.4 the from address can be defined under [Administration] -> [Media types] -> [Email]. Look for field "SMTP email"

      Thanks Aigars for your help.
      My concern is that, as stated above, I have configured SMTP email configurations under
      [Administration] -> [Media types] -> [Email] in my Zabbix instance (
      zabbix/3.5/rhel/7/x86_64/zabbix-release-3.5-1.el7.noarch.rpm
      ).
      However, while sending email notifications, when captured the wireshark trace, From Address in the SMTP envelope is NULL due to which the Sender Address validation in our Exchange Server is failing.
