So I'm completely at my witts end now with Zabbix.
I've got several auto-discovery rules that scan several IP address ranges everyday, and depending on various discovery rules, adds them into a group and templates. This works fine, but then at what seems like random times, the hosts lose all templates and items.
I have set them manually into their own groups / templates, and again, after a few weeks, all templates have been removed from the hosts.
This is driving me mad, I can't monitor anything as hosts are not keeping their configuration.
Also, today I got in, and a tonne of servers that had been removed MONTHS ago, are showing up as "Zabbix agent unreachable for 5 minutes". Where on earth are these hosts coming from? You cannot ping them or access them, they don't exist.
Please please help with this. All my monitoring as been fubarred this morning.
