    2.0.10: Zoom backwards

    Hi all,
isn't the zoom part left of "|" supposed to zoom "back in time" (e.g. decreasing the chosen intervall)?

For example, if I choose "7d" in the upper zoom setting and then click on the "1d" left of "|" I would expect to have a time range of "7d" - "1d" => 6d.

But at least the 2.0.10 frontend version adds "1d" to "7d" giving "8d" and not "6d".

    I changed line 1198 of /usr/share/zabbix/js/gtlc.js

    Code:
                            addListener(this.dom.nav_linklist[links], 'click', this.navigateLeft.bindAsEventListener(this, 0-moves[i]));
    to get expected behaviour.

Or do I misunderstand the concept?

    Thank you for your comments!

P.S. The additional zoom values were inserted by me.

Steve - the way that function works... if you have a 1 day view and then click on the "1d |" that will take you back in time one day of your current view.

I find it useful when an App team is looking at data and then if they ask - what did it look like yesterday at this same time? Just click that and slide backwards whatever timeframe you are working with.

Ok, I understand. That was not really clear to me ...

What I experienced is that whenever I click on values on the lower scale it moves the "start time" according the chosen value but does not adapt the "end date".
That leads to a increasing intervall for each click rather than retaining the currently chosen intervall.
Also it does not respect if I click left or right from "|" but rather goes just back in time for every click.
I would expect to move "forward in time" when I click right of "|" and "back in time" when I click left of "|".

Could you please check how your time scale behaves?
      Thanks in advance!

To be exactly, clicks right of "|" shift the end date by the clicked value but clicks left of "|" shift the start date.

At now time I was able to shift a defined intervall back or forth in time.

The functionality changes depending on whether you have it set to use "fixed" or "dynamic" setting. If it is set to fixed, you will slide left or right by the amount you click on. If it is set to dynamic, then it will increase or decrease the time by the amount you click on.

          This is in 2.0.9
