snmp info only trunk

Hello,
I have a question about Zabbix configuration. Namely, I would like to zabbix did not monitor me all the interfaces on cisco devices, and only those what you want. Eg info about trunk or ports that have a specific description.
Any ideas on how to define it?

If you are using the Template SNMP interface, you should modify / clone it and change the discovery rule to filter on the interface you want to monitor.
There is a macro / regex filter field in the discovery form.

yep, Macro and Regxp is the way.

we use them to do exactly what you want, I wanted to filter to only physical interfaces on our alcatel service router, and it was easy to do it.
