If I have an IT service comprising of several hosts and underneath each host, multiple trigger items that all compromise a service, do I need to add the service times to each individual trigger item or can I add it at the top level for the entire service?

I think you have to add service to to each individual services, cause by default all services are expected to operate 24x7x365.

That's what I was afraid of. I think the more logical method would have been to calculate based on the top level since realistically that's what you're reporting.Comment
