why don't you just try to install it from scratch? at least you will learn a little how it works. i have good experience with centos, you have a lot of documentation regarding zabbix install.

but yes, if you do a "mysqldump", you can then import the DB on another server.

Yes, CentOS, debian or Ubuntu whatever...
I thought that the database Zabbix "appliance" was compatible with only appliance and not debian, ubuntu....

but can you explain me how I can put the old database in the new zabbix ? Yes, with mysqldump but more precisely ? Please

mysqldump -u root -p zabbix > zabbix.sql

copy to 2nd server

mysql -u root -p zabbix < zabbix.sql

for the appliance you only need to import the DB.
if you want to build a new server yourself, you have to do everything - install apache, mysql, download zabbix, "configure, make install" etc

For the later:
- export (old) database via mysqldump
- copy that export to new system
- have the new system running (probably empty)
- stop zabbix-server there
- cross fingers
- import the database
- start zabbix-server
- check server's log file

just short note: be patient when you exporting AND importing database.
it will take hours or days, depend on size of your database.
don't jump around - start the importing process before the weekend and take a rest.

I have a problem, I tried to do "mysqldump" but, my database zabbix is 520 mo
And when I do mysqldump, my file zabbix.sql is 270mo (at 15min mysqldump shutdown)
