Hi,
I have been playing with Zabbix in my test environment to get familiar and now I want to slowly implement it in production. This will be a small setup, say 50 Hosts and 5-10 Items for each and triggers on maybe half of those items.
I have one Centos VPS which is used for something else that is lightweight. It already has the LAMP stack installed but it's RAM is minimal -- 400 MB or so. I'm thinking this is probably not adequate to add Zabbix as well.
I have also been looking at getting a new VPS dedicated for Zabbix. Would 1GB RAM be OK for my scenario? Is 20GB disk OK as long as I don't keep stats going back too far? Part B of this question -- if this is enough, how many more Hosts/Items is reasonable for these resources?
Thanks much!
Mark
