Monitoring Throught a Proxy Server

Hi,
I need to monitor a remote devices using SNMP, BUT the ports is only reachable through one public IP ( VPS in a cloud).
Is there any solution to make zabbix send trafics through that server ?

I think I need to connect my zabbix server to the VPN , so the traffic can goes through it ( authorized IP) .
