Is it possible for an action to be triggered only once a day?

I have a trigger that is fired constantly on many different machines, this trigger is linked to a Send Message Action.
The problem is that I am getting an email for the same machine again and again and again, I end up having hundreds of emails a day.

I'd like to get one email per machine once a day, is it possible? It means that no matter how many times the trigger will be triggered, the action for a specific machine will act once.

Here is my current action operation settings (I set it here for 3 days). If I understand correctly because step duration is set to 3 days, I am only suppose to get one message every 3 days
but I get hundreds of messages.....

Any help would be highly appreciated

    Hello saibuster,

What configuration do you have for your user will receive these alerts?

If you go to Administration > Users > UserDoYouWant > Media, click on edit button for email notification and what is the parameter that you have on "When Active" field?

    Regards

      Hi fsouza

My users are configured to get alerts 24/7 - So under when Active is set to 1-7,00:00-24:00
Note that I do want my users to get an Alert when it happens but I dont want them to get the same alert again after 15 minutes.
