IT Services SLA breached --> Trigger

I would like to send a notification when a SLA for a given period (a Year) has been breached.

Is there any way to do this?

It does not appear that you can do this. A similar question was raised in this post:

and no one has answered. I've been researching the SLA configurations lately and I see no options to send an alert based on the SLA being in a specific state.

However the SLA's are based on a trigger so you should put together an alert using the same logic you desire to consider your SLA out of compliance.
