Hello everyone. This is my first post here so I would like to say hello. I have that kind of network where I would like to monitor devices by zabbix proxy. Till this moment I was able to set up everything locally (in HQ part) and I can montor branch by a bunch of direct connections. I would like to use zabbix proxy but I struggle with its configuration and server registry. I was able to register proxy on server (I have value in last seen)but cannot force branch servers to be visible on a server. I have no idea what should I insert into Agent Interfaces on a server. Have tried fqdn, hostname, internal host IP, external router IP but none icon in Activity column are coloured (no matter green or red - there is no colour at all). all branch servers points to proxy.

On the host config, did you select your proxy in the field "Monitored by proxy"?
Check the zabbix_proxy.log for messages. -
Yes, I have selected proxy in that field (and proxy reports in every 30s.). My main concern is about the values that should be inserted in: Agent interface (internal IP of host/External IP of network/IP of Proxy server/ FQDN of branch / FQDN of host ? I assume that port should remain the same: 10050. I do not understand as well why ZBX icon (in configuration/host table) is not green/red but just transparent. Can check the logs tommorow.Comment
