currently one has trends and history.
For some metrics we would like to do the following:
- Store values every 5 seconds for a few minutes.
- For a few hours store values every minute.
- For a few days store values every 10 minutes.
- Only after that period revert to only trends.
Is this possible with zabbix today?
My impression is that it is not possible by default but would work if one were to set the update interval to the highest frequency and manually do housekeeping to aggregate the items inside the history tables with the desired frequencies for older data. Has anyone tried this, do the graphs still accept this kind of data? Or am I missing something and is this already possible by default?
