Some hosts / triggers 'disabled' in map

I am configuring a map in Zabbix, and adding triggers. This is what I do:

    click on 'item/add'"
    'new element' appears
    select 'trigger' in dropdown menu
enter FQDN and IP address in 'Labe
    leave label location as 'Default'
click on 'Select' for New Triggers
find the host in the pop-up and add all of the triggers
click on 'add' to confirm addition of triggers
change icon to 'Server(96)' for all four statuses
click on 'apply' and then on 'close'.

I have now done this with five different servers. When I go back into the map, two of them are marked as 'disabled' and the other three are marked as 'OK' in green. I also added an Apple Mac desktop, and that is marked as 'disabled'.

When I check the triggers for each host, I cannot see any difference between the 'disabled' ones and the 'OK' ones. All triggers are enabled, in every single host.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

did you newbietozabbix67 get any answer to this problem? I am having the same issue when I try to update map via Zabbix API and to create few elements with triggers, those are immediately in disabled state and I really don't know what's wrong.

In the previous message, the person selected the trigger as the display, not the network node itself. And got the trigger status displayed on the map. Do you do the same? if not, then write more details with pictures.

        Hi,

and thanks for quick reply Hamardaban !

could you please open this "trigger as the display" a bit more, I didn't follow? When I am creating a map via Zabbix API I need the trigger-id to map the element to specific trigger. When I run the script and open the element it has created the trigger name is completed with the template name etc. I think the problem is here somehow...
I need to know what parameters I need in the API call, because I have to make a map with a over 100 trigger element and by hand it's very time consuming.
