Zabbix Server CPU is very high

    Hello,

For some reason, the CPU of the Zabbix server itself is very high, which is odd as this machine has 8 cores and 16GB ram. At the same time, Zabbix is reporting that the Zabbix poller processes more than 75% busy.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Im new to Zabbix, but at the moment it's monitoring everything I need and I don't wan't anything to go wrong with it.

    Thank you.

Seems you are still using passive monitoring (which does not scale well) instead active one.

Thank you for your reply, would you be able to point me in the right direction of switching from passive to active? And what's the difference? Thank you.

Could someone still help me please? Would active monitoring fix this issue? If so, how do I go about making the change?

If there are many items to passive check, the availability of the poller process will be higher.
If there are many items to be acquired per second, it is necessary to take measures such as increasing the number of processes in the Zabbix server configuration file.

Thank you. Could you tell me exactly what I am changing in the config file? I looked at the documentation briefly as I searched for "process", but I couldn't be sure what I'm looking for exactly?
