How to check ping to two external IP

    Hi,
I'd like to monitor if Internet connection in my office is fine. So, as I understand, I can ping external IP( for example, google.com) and if it don't respond several times, trigger will be ON. But I don't know how to realize this in Zabbix. Also we have 2-nd(reserve) Internet provider, and I'd like to check if connection is good on the 2nd too.
Mb somebody know how to do this?

    Hi kirin ,

You have many options to monitor internet connections:

1 - with ping (ping ip01 and ip02 after create trigger to validate result is up to one or two ips)
2 - with scripts, speedtest-cli in python, its good with pre-processing , after create triggers.
3 - with network traffic your device or router by snmp

    Regards

Hi, Hernandes, thank you for your response

I solve it by defining traffic law to 8.8.8.8 by one gateway and to 8.8.4.4 by another, then I've created 2 new hosts with ICMP Ping to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

      Up!

can you please share how did you do it?

      I have 2 Internet
one is tie to ISP1 line and the other tie to ISP2
      ping to destination of
      8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

In this I will know the difference latency of each ISP.

Please help me how to do it. Thanks.
