Filter alerts by relevence

Hi!

We have Zabbix 2.4 which is used by different teams who are each responsible for a different set of applications / servers. At the moment all users receive alerts for all hosts / servers, many of which aren't relevant to the team / users receiving them. This means that the alerts that are relevant are being swamped by the hundreds that aren't relevant, causing them to be missed altogether.

Is it possible to set up some sort of filtering in Zabbix so that alerts are on sent to the relevant teams / users that are responsible for the servers being monitored?

Hey,

for sure is it possible.
You can make notification actions for special group of hosts to special User/Usergroup.
Here more Info for alert condition (What Application, Host group, Template, Host, Tag, Tag value, Trigger, Trigger name, Trigger severity is needed)
And here for operations (Who should get the Alert)
