Proxy and managing timer

Hello guys,
I am trying to implement Zabbix using proxy to control different remote location.
In this moment I have a problem and I did not find a way to solve it:
sometime happen that the remote connections go down and when it go up again I wait too much time until the error desappear.
For example, for the past two days, I've been told that remote hosts are unreachable, even though the connection is back!

Have someone an idea to solve this problem?
What is the way to manage this timer and delay when zabbix uses proxy?

I have notice that there is a problem about the queue.
Is there a way to manage this in the right way?
