    Zabbix - Agents over the Internet

    Hi all

    This has most likely been covered time and again but I'm pulling hair, so, I have an external agent on a Windows Server. The config of that agent is set to Server= my external IP.
    In pfsense where the Zabbix server resides I have opened ports 10050 and 10051 and can see traffic from the Windows agent through TCPDump on the Zabbix Server (CentOS). I can also see the communications in TCPDUMP on pfsense.

    However, Zabbix is reporting the Red ZBX with error Interrupt error. Windows Firewall has been set to allow ports 10050&10051 inbound.

    So can anyone tell me why I have the Red ZBX error with Interrupted system call?

    Agent side is behind a Draytek with ports forwarded... Again 10050&10051 pointing to Windows Server internal IP.

    Help!!??

      Hi, try disabling your windows firewall on the server temporarily and also increase the timeout in your agent config on the windows server side to the following below.

      make the change and save config, restart services and see if the problem resolves.

      ########## ADVANCED PARAMETERS ##########
      .

      ### OPTION: TIMEOUT
      TIMEOUT=30

      Working...
