How to deploy Zabbix for multi-client monitoring with possible overlapping host IPs

Hi,
I have to enable multiple client environments.

Client A - has multiples sites
Client B - has multiples sites

Client A and Client B site host IPs are overlapping/duplicated.

I have read that Zabbix proxy is to be used here to scale.
I have not seen any explanation on how it actually being done.

For eg.,
Zabbix central server, receives Client A data from Proxy-Site-A1 + Proxy-Site-A2, and,
also recieves Client B data from Proxy-Site-B1 + Proxy-Site-B2.

Scenario 1: Duplicate IPs with Proxy-Site-A1 and Proxy-Site-A2
How will Zabbix handle this?

Each monitored host is distinguished in zabbix configuration not only by host name ir IP but by physical path between host and server if in the middle is proxy.
Two hosts even with the same name but monitored over two different proxies are not the same hosts.
Using the same IP but different host names is only way to use something which is dummy host (127.0.0.1)

I cannot now test it but I could be wrong about non-unique hostname if different proxies are used.
Definitely you can specify multiple hosts with the same IPs but with different hostname.
