User Macros in Triggers/Actions

Hi All,

from what I see on the "Macros Supported by Location" appendix (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ed_by_location), User Macros ({$MACRO}) should be supported in Trigger Names and Description, but doesn't seem to be working.

I'm using User Macros to assign client association to hosts, and need this information as part of the notification being generated by the trigger, but so far, the user macros doesn't work in "Trigger Name", "Trigger Description" or Action Subject/Message.

Anybody has a good solution to pass along user macros for external notifications?

Nevermind...

Well,

nevermind the Macro not making it in the Trigger name, actually helps if I specify the right macro...

But would still appreciate your thoughts about the ability to use these User Macros from within an "Action"...
