Location and device based event correlation

Hi,

i'm searching for a method for event correlation which is location based nad device based. We're monitoring many devices on diffenrent sites via imcp. Now when the router going out of business the trigger for the router working as expected by sending us an email notification. But all other devices also do so and we get many many mails for a "simple" router failure.
Is it possible to create a event correlation to get only one email notification when the router is unavailable?

Add to host inventory location data and you will have no needs to use other methods to obtain location details

Hi kloczek,

thank you for your reply. But I can't see the solution for my problem.
For clarification: when the router on the locations goes down -> one mail that the router didn't respond -> no other trigger from the devices behind the router should sent an email because the router is down and I know that the devices are not available via icmp.
