What's the best approach to gauge Zabbix bandwidth consumption?

How can we rough estimate the bandwidth Zabbix will be using to monitor an infra? It doesn't need to be strongly accurate, but at least to have some estimated numbers to work with.

    Thanks very much.

Rough, maybe NVPS x value size? Say you are monitoring snmp devices using proxies, value sample rate x values per second would flow between the proxy and the devices, then the values would be sent to the zabbix server and to a db server, so each "value" would be on the network 3 times.

At 4500 nvps the inbound bandwith to our server averages under 3 Mbps. Almost all of the monitoring is aggregated by proxies but that would include traffic for the web interface. My busiest proxy runs about 1500 nvps, averages 3 Mbps in/out bandwidth but has periodic spikes to 7 Mbps on the input side, probably LLD'ind big snmp devices.
