Zabbix upgrade from 2.4 to 4.0

Hello Zabbix guru,

Is anyone tried to upgrade Zabbix 2.4 directly to Zabbix 4.0?? The documentation describes only upgrade from 3.X to 4.0.

I would like to upgrade directly because it should take a shorter time period. Upgrading two times (2.4 to 3.X and 3.X to 4.0) is not the most acceptable scenario for me.

Would you happen to know how you can upgrade Zabbix 2.2 LTS to 4.0 LTS?
The point is whether you can do it directly from 2.2 to 4.0, or need a two-step transition which means you have to upgrade 2.2 to 3.x once and then upgrade 3.x to 4.0.
