Upgrading Zabbix from 3.4 to 4.0

Will i lose everything? what can i expect to change? has someone exprience with this?

No, you will not lose everything. If done successfully, all data remains in the database. But please do a full DB backup or a VM snapshot first because that will be the only way to recover if anything goes wrong.

What about my proxies?

Got to upgrade them as well at the same time. They are not expected to work with upgraded server and vice versa.
