What do the *UNKNOWN* fields in emails mean?

I get email notification of problems, OK but what do the *UNKNOWN* fields signify please?

eg:

2: *UNKNOWN* (*UNKNOWN*:*UNKNOWN*): *UNKNOWN*
3: *UNKNOWN* (*UNKNOWN*:*UNKNOWN*): *UNKNOWN*

That comes from the "Default message" setting of an action

If you go to your Configuration --> Actions and look at your setup, you will see that there are probably a list of 2 or 3 of these in any given action.

I personally remove the extra ones as I have not found a use for multiples at this point in time. There is a functional use for them though.
