I've been given task to manage my host group after someone else set up the system itself and I want to rebuild it a bit. My current setup looks like this:
and I have problem with that, because everything is added by individual hosts:
My plan was to: 1)Delete all triggers, items and everything from hosts; 2)Create templates (for example, HardwareMonitoring and WindowsServicesMonitoring, and OurIntetnalAppMonitoring etc.); 3)Apply templates to hosts. Should produce same result, only better. However I encounter problems with this:
So I cannot delete old things and cannot add new ones. When checking templates that I made, I don't see any links there:
Checked documentation, but it deals with creating and applying templates, and didn't find what I'm looking for in Google - most likely because I can't formulate my question properly. Any help?
