4.0.1 Missing ability to assign templates to host groups?

Guessing I'm missing something where, the normal way to assign templates to a host group appears to be gone or?

Hi,

Go to the Templates menu - Select a specific template.
You should see a Groups field with an option to select and assign the template to any of the existing host groups or create a new one. (see screenshot)

What you are missing is this - the twin boxes. Removed in 4.0 by this: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-4152

After that there is an attempt to partly revert the functionality by this: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-4725

Mass update feature is probably the best way to go about the template linkage now.

Thanks guys.. This new method feels counter intuitive but oh well.

This functionality needs to be restored. Mass update is not replacement, you can link hosts to templates, but not unlink. Before 4.0 it was trivial to unlink (remove) template from multiplse hosts, since 4.0 you need to open every host individually and click multiple times.

But you are aware that by a simple unlink of a template you still leave all items and triggers on the host, right?
