Secure Monitoring through Zabbix

Hello Team,

We are using Zabbix 2.2.2.

Need to secure the data transfer through client and server. Is there any feature to secure
the data transmission in the latest version of Zabbix?

Or do we need to go for ssl tunneling or VPN setup?

There is no builtin security within Zabbix' protocols.
You have to deal with VPN, ssh, ipsec, SSL tunnels (stunnel) or even hardware/appliance based encrypting solutions.
