Network Graphs / MPI and Trigger events.

Hi Im new to zabbix and have purchased the 1.8 Monitoring book. Im doing some research on Interconnects in clusters when running proprietary MPI codes. I was looking for some advice on whether/how it is possible to produce graphs/triggers from networking events in the following areas:

    1. Throughput/Time (Network Signature type graph with some summarising
    stats)

    2. Network Packet (Block size) vs Latency type charts.. I had proposed to do
this with NetPipe but was hoping with zabbix apparent increased
functionality it would be possible to do it here.

    3. How to create some triggers or 'highlight' particular high points in latency
    over time

    4. Is it possible to do this perhaps based on different hosts? Is it just a
case of activating the host and then producing them or is it possible to
overlay one hosts behaviour against another.

My sincerest thanks in advance for any help/advice anyone can offer

    Many thanks
