installing zabbix proxy 4.0 comes with no TLS support

    Hello everyone.

I've been trying to install zabbix-proxy, but the .conf file comes with no TLS module whatsoever.

I install the packages from the .deb file. Tried from the tar.gz file (it's for Ubuntu Xenial) but no configure file comes after unpacking so I cannot compile with the tls option manually.

The strange thing is, that with an outdated Ubuntu, prior to run apt-get update, the module came in just fine, with the same deb package.

Any thoughts about this? Any way I could install from the deb file with the TLS module or load the module manually after installing?

Well, I managed to figure something out. It had to do with how the package would determine if the TLS modules are usable or not. First, I changed the package version to the latest available, but no dice. Then I tried switching to other Ubuntu version (Trusty), and updating before installing, and even after, running an apt-get upgrade of the Zabbix Proxy package.

Should anyone encounter this issues, please keep in mind to try all update actions available. And do not mix up major versions: proxy and server must be in the same major.
