Hi,
When using the VMware template in Zabbix for discovering and monitoring VMware environment, Zabbix will create a host profile for each ESXi host and VM and attach a template to them.
The resulting hosts are "read-only" (grayed out) and do not allow any changes to be applied to them, e.g. adding more templates to the discovered hosts or adding the hosts into other groups.
Is this behaviour intended? I would expect that every discovered host should at least be allowed to be added to any other existing group the way normal (manually added) hosts are allowed to.
I'm sure others ran into this problem as well, so what is the way a discovered host can be updated, e.g. attach more templates to it or add it to the groups besides the ones defined in the host profile?
Thanks.
