First i want to start by apologizing for my bad english.
I am totally new with ZABBIX so I have a question :
I use SNMP for monitoring some windows servers in the same network as my zabbix server.
Now i want to monitor as the the way (with SNMP) some servers who are not in the same network, by using public ipv4 adress.
I created a host with SNMP and I give him the public adress of my windows server.
But ZABBIX show me that error : "Time out while connecting to (public ip of my server)".
Any idea ?
More informations :
SNMP is activated on my windows server.
I give to ZABBIX the good ip of my windows server.
ZABBIX can reach the windows server with the public adress
The firewall of the windows server is disabled
I use the default port 161
