Zabbix DNS Option
I pretty new to zabbix, I am working with a test host to figure out this zabbix stuff. I have got everything working (a lot of reading was involved) but im having an issue with trying to get my zabbix server to monitor my host with the DNS instead of the IP address, I haven’t been able to do it yet, not sure what i could be missing, any ideas would help. ?? When I change the option to dns instead of ip address the monitoring icon turns to red and it gives me a message like this "Get value from agent failed: cannot resolve [<hostname>]"
