    Performance Problems

    Hi Folks!

I have a "little" problem and question

The database server for zabbix had so much problems while Zabbix was running. Three times the server was completely offline - it never did this before!

    Configuration:
    WebInterface clustered on 6 Webservers
zabbix_server running on an extra machine
mysql db for Zabbix on an extra machine

All machines have at least 2GB RAM and dual 2.6GHz processor.
    About 40 hosts monitored.

This isn't normal, isn't it? If I don't find a way out of this mess these were the last days of Zabbix for us

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

How should we help, if you do not post LogFile-Output?

sorry but there is nothing in the logs. The Zabbix server is running. The db server becomes a very high load, doesn't respond any more and finally it isn't reachable at all any more... Nothing of that writes in any logs - only that zabbix_server is shutting down when the db server is not responding

        This is quite normal.
But it isn't a Zabbix failure, looks more than a MySQL problem.

        What does mysql_error.log say?

mmh i didn't find anything spectacular in the mysql logs. The problem is that they are "cycled away"... Perhaps I can find them again... *searching*
