zabbix agent installation fails on solaris 10

Hi,

Zabbix agent installation fails while running configure with below shown error:

checking for -m64 compilation flag... yes
checking for architecture... solaris (solaris2.10)
checking for ICONV support... configure: error: Unable to use iconv (libiconv check failed)

I have checked the config.log file also and there is no useful trace to paste here.

Do i need to define some environment variables? If yes, then how?

Please help me to identify the issue.

Are you sure you have libiconv in 64bit installed? You are trying to compile with "-m64" which requires 64bit libraries.

I went through many blogs and somewhere I found below parameters to use. And it worked !!

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/coolstack/lib/

LIBS=-liconv LDFLAGS=-L/usr/lib ./configure --enable-agent
