Good morning everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me out with creating an action and a trigger, please?
I have not been able to get this to work at all.
A quick rundown of my setup:
Zabbix is on its own Linux server it has all the read/write permissions set up and I have remote command enabled.
I also already have Zabbix doing some remote commands for me.
I have 4 windows servers and on each of those servers I have 5+ Hyper-V Windows servers setup and 2 of each of those servers have a Service running called "NPNotice".
I have not been able to figure out why this service is stopping once in a while, but when it stops it causes problems.
I am trying to get Zabbix to notify me that the service has stopped and once it detects that it stops it will restart the service.
Would someone be able to give me a step by step of what I need to do, please?
I currently have the Action/Operation set: Remote Command - Target List: (All the servers the "NPNotice" is connected to) - Custom Script - Set on Zabbix Agent - Commands "sc start NPNotice"
This is not tied to any Action as of yet I thought I had read it didn't need to be and I have not been able to get an action to notify me this is down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
