    Templates FreePBX

    Hello everyone,

I'm asking for your help because I'm currently starting on Zabbix, but I can not use templates that use scripts that are not native.
The template I would like to use is this: https://github.com/alkali147/asterisk-zabbix.
I'm using Zabbix 4.0.3, on CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core) and 5.5.60-MariaDB.

    Thank you beforehand.

              Hi Urahara,

So what are you trying to do/monitor?
When you say "but I can not use templates that use scripts that are not native" what do you mean? what are you running the scripts on?

                Hi,

I tried to monitor a FreePBX and use a template which works with a .sh script, but when I follow the steps of the readme file, it doesn't work.
So I'm asking myself, why isn't it working ?

                Thank you

OK cool. What does it tell you to do in the readme file?
Is this the template your trying to use? https://share.zabbix.com/atc/pbx/asterisk-template

Thank you for your fast answer.

The template that I wanted to use was this one : https://github.com/alkali147/asterisk-zabbix, but if yours can works with FreePBX it's okay for me.

No problem. I would try this one https://share.zabbix.com/atc/pbx/asterisk-template, Its been downloaded 6468 time and its from the Zabbix templates share site. From the instructions it's a straight forward setup to get it working.

                        Thank you for your answer,

I follow the instructions but I have an issue, I haven't a folder /home/zabbix, do I have to create it ? Where can I find where is my folder of scripts ?

OK, so /home/zabbix is a home direcroty of the zabbix user. You will need to created this user with the command 'adduser zabbix'. Don't worry about the scripts, because it say in the install instructions " or your own path of zabbix scripts."
Before you make and changes to your freePBX make sure you have a backup of it.

Okay, it's created, the scripts are in, but what do I have to do for the permission ? Switch to 777 the scripts ?
