Zabbix Mib Upload Concer

Hi All,


I am trying to upload a mib and trying to push a trap from my application server but unable to do so.


Can you please help me on uploading the MIB and push a trap and it shoudl be visble in the UI.

Version I am using is 3.4.1 version


I followed below link which didn't work.

I am stuck up at setting up mib and the error I am getting is below

The file is already in mibs file and in /etc/snmp/snmp.conf file as well

Please help me in sorting out this

This issue has nothong to do with zabbix per se.
You can add MIB to be visable be zabbix by add in /etc/snmp/snmp.local.conf line:

mibs +<YOUR-MIB-FILE-MANE>

Please read net-snmp documentation about how to register MIB file.

In above lines you have exact file names with paths in which MIB files should be present in your system however looks like something is wrong with your MIB files.

at present I am not observing the issue but in the tmp path Zabbix_trap.tmp file is created but in the UI I am unable to find that trap and in the

Zabbix_trap.tmp file it is not in correct format

I'm using snmptrapd + SNMPTT to pass traps to Zabbix server

Again .. could you please put your MIBs which generates some errors on loadingby libnetsnmp library somewhere publically to allow me have look what is wrong with those MIBs?

And what happens when you are trying to get data using snmpget/snmpwalk command?

Its just giving error I have not done any snmpget/snmpwalk command.

Zabbix and snmp-net commands like snmpget/snpwalk commands are using exactly the same libsnmp library which is responsible for OIDs resolution and communication with remote SNMP agent).
Using those commands is base technique on resolving any issues with SNMP.
As long as those commands are working collectedly zabbix will be OK as well.
