Installing zabbix on rhel 7.5 failed with this error

Installing zabbix on rhel 7.5 failed with this error: "error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: lstat failed - Inappropriate ioctl for device"

Anyone knows this error ?

The closest solution found suggest to remove symlinks that are on the same directory as the files install from the rpm package, but it's not very clear to me.

Could you tell us the steps how you tried to install Zabbix?

It's installed with rpm and with output redirection to /tmp.

This is the command:
rpm --nodeps -ivvh --replacepkgs --replacefiles zabbix-agent-3.4.4-1.el7.x86_64.rpm > /tmp/installation_output_zabbix-agent-3.4.4-1.el7.x86_64.rpm.txt 2>&1

Although it is on CentOS 7.6.1810, I tried executing the same command using the package which seems to be the same rpm, but it was successfully installed.

Is not the downloaded rpm file corrupt? Please try downloading again and trying to compare the file size etc.

In my environment, it was as follows.

# ls -l zabbix-agent-3.4.4-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
