Hello everyone,
I would like to help to try to solve a problem I have, I started using Zabbix recently and still have several doubts.
Seen in this topic a management of internet links redundantly, but unfortunately I wouldn't see me.
https: www.zabbix.comforumshowthread.php?t42016
I have 3 links internet access working redundantly.
2-ISP
1-MPLS
If the MPLS down the VPN connect through Firewall and environment not impacted.
If the ISP 1 fails the ISP 2 automatically assumes the traffic, that makes this automatically is the firewall.
I thought to use some script that run on Zabbix server and do a tracert and ping to test the address 8.8.8.8 (for example), if the 2 tests are OK and in the tracert contains a string with the name of the operator the link would be ok, if not I would return that the link was Down, this test could be done every 10 min for examplebut I have no idea how I could do this.
I would like to help to indicate where material can achieve something similar or helping me develop something.
Sorry my bad english
