I'am trying to monitor a Oracle alert.
The objective is to generate events for the lines that have the string ORA- anywhere.
I have already created the item below witch is fully functional:
log["/u01/oracle/diag/rdbms/sia/SIA/trace/alert_SIA.log",iso-8859-1]
However, the trigger combined with a regular expression is not working properly and are generating events for all the lines returned by the item.
{Template ORION OS linux:log["/u01/oracle/diag/rdbms/sia/SIA/trace/alert_SIA.log",,iso-8859-1].regexp(@Alert_Oracle_Disaster_Regexp,1d)}=1
Alert_Oracle_Disaster_Regexp 1 ยป (ORA\-) [Result is TRUE] case sentive
for example: 'Starting background process SMCO' is generating an event.
there is no other triggers for this item.
The versions:
zabbix_server --version
Zabbix server v2.2.0 (revision 40163) (12 November 2013)
Compilation time: Nov 12 2013 11:24:15
