Monitoring (watching) number of files in a drirectory

Hi, our customer uses Zabbix and needs monitor number of files in particular directory(-ies) on Windows or share. When number of files exceeds the limit, he needs to be notified. Please, could you advice how to do it? Thank you.

Take a look 'vfs.dir.count' item (at https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...s/zabbix_agent).

vfs_dir_count is supported since Zabbix 4.0.0

Is this possible to do on Zabbix 3.4.0?
