Zabbix email alert via Gmail

I do it according to the manual (step by step)

test with cmd: echo "E-Mail using the command-line" | ssmtp [email protected] works correctly. Mail receives - work correctly.

After configuration in zabbix - gets the error: wrong answer on RCPT TO "554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Relay access denied".

Where can the error be?

Check your GMail settings if it allows less secure apps.

From Zabbix side I could think of some email media settings configured wrong. Look for SSL ones in particular https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...#configuration

this is how the ssmtp and email configuration at zabbix looks like for me:




Test: echo "E-Mail using the command-line" | ssmtp [email protected]
orks correctly, the mail appears on the inbox



but the zabbix itself signals an error



I really do not know where I'm making a mistake.

Select those both SSL verification boxes and try again.

I tried with STARTSSL enabled, I tried with SSL / TLS, I enabled and disabled the optional SSL options below. The error is still the same.

I reboot the entirety of my all VM's sundaies at 4AM to apply security related patches to the machine. I need to have the option to smother email notices during this time-frame in Zabbix. How might I do this? academy email alert

I arranged a "Support period" during this time-frame however I actually get messages after the window finished. Any assistance is valued.
